Help us get new players!

One of the best ways to get new players is to participate in well-known MUD ranking sites. Many potential MUDders filter through these sites every day, looking for a new MUD to pique their interests. We'd love for MUDders looking for a new adventure to try out RotS, so we'd like to get our name in front of as many MUD site visitors as possible; and some of the most frequently visited portions of MUD database sites are the top-10 and top-20 lists--but it's no simple feat to get your MUD recognized on one of these elite lists!

That's where our players come in! We need you to spare a few minutes of your time every day (if possible) to click on these links and give a shout-out to the MUDs you enjoy.

  • Mudconnector is an extremely popular site with content for people who are both searching for a new MUD as well as those who just want to discuss MUD programming and design. Click here to vote for us on the Mudconnector's top MUD list!

  • Topmudsites.com hosts a top 20 MUD list that they advertise on their forums' front page. Their forums are very active and attract all sorts of MUDders; from programmers to player killers. Overall, this is a great place for RotS to get some recognition. Click here to help put RotS in one of the coveted top 20 spots!

Remember, you can help keep the MUD alive and well by helping us attract new players on these MUD lists; but you can also do your best to help new players whenever you see them in-game. If you keep these things in mind and lend a helping hand every now and then, RotS may continue to prosper for yet another decade.
